West has created an intricately woven story of two possible futures, with chapters that alternate between Addie’s choices-to stay or to leave. She may not be one of kasiw favorite protagonists, she may not be particularly witty or smart, but I highly enjoyed her company.
When given a choice, Addie can see where each one will lead and it gives her the opportunity to pick which one she thinks is better. I know, this is not the way to start my review, but how do you expect me to focus on writing whe Can someone please come and erase my memory such that I can fall in love again with this story in kasiee
I absolutely loved this book! Aside from all the cute swoony romance, of course!
There’s nothing in it that bothered me or set my teeth on edge, but while I was reading it, I couldn’t help but think of how much better it could have been. Or saying someone is creepy just for the hell of it. Initially, the two plotlines are fairly divergent, but as the climax builds, the characters and stories begin to merge and the two worlds overlap.
Faced with the choice of whether to stay with her mother in the Compound or go with her father to the Norm world, Addie searches each reality’s future, but soon realizes that deciding which path to take will be more complicated than she had originally planned. Kasie West has done a great job here of writing something that is in the paranormal genre, but is so focused on the characters that the paranormal part is more of a sub-plot instead of being the main focus.
Then there was Trevor, who I was kind of hesitant about liking in the first place but definitely sort of kaske to fall in love with his character.
Thanks for telling us about the problem. Alexa Actionable Analytics for the Web. Laid out before her are two very different possible futures. From the light-hearted and hilarious dialogue between the characters, to the sheer likeability of the protagonist – Addie – who doesn’t bog down the novel with melodrama and angst but leads us through a story that is completely enjoyable and practically unputdownable.
The reveal to his character is fantastic. First off, there was no development. Overall, I would recommend this to all supernatural lovers.
One Search six weeks into the future proves it’s not. Addie also sees the star quarterback of her school, Duke, piont that future.

I really feel it’s a skill that I don’t see very often these days. Sweet, funny, kind, and a total nerdhe was a perfect Kasie West book boy. The last part of the book surprised me.
My agent is the talented and funny Michelle Wolfson. Addie’s voice, combined with her dialogue with other characters, kept me smiling from the very first page.
Even a dystopian sort of novel can become fluffy when she writes it. There are those who can persuade others, those who can erase some portions of others’ memories, those who can detect lies, those who can move objects with their minds, those who can manipulate mass, those who can manipulate mood, and of course, those who can see into the future when given two choices.
Jul 17, alyssa rated it really liked it Recommended to alyssa by: There are some, if not most books I give four stars to that I say I love, and most if not all of the books I give 4.
Each reality is played out in alternating chapters, and I soon found a reality and romance I was partial to. Samantha Lum June 18, at 3: I think this might have been explained and I probably looked over it but how did the Compound football team play against other Norm teams. Yet, I think she gave me enough to make the story interesting, and hold my attention. Don’t have a Kindle? Not quite, but it is one hell of a debut!! I would have rated it higher if not for the pacing and physical tropes of the characters.
