Found this when I was in middle school and have read it so many times it’s falling apart. The story and time period is pretty barbaric edsert brutal. So I decided to write a romance novel but only managed to talk about writing one. This book is both steamy and light-hearted, a perfect historical romance!

I was given this book in return for an hone A highly debatable rating. The ambiguous ending left me dissatisfied, though. But Khalid Beg could not give up his English “wildflower”. Believing in happily-ever-afters positively screams romantic-at-heart.

While, book 3 in the “Devereux” series, it can be read as a stand alone. Yet even as Heather found heaven in his arms, Khalid knew she would never be his until he gave her the one thing she most ardently desired I was probably a freshman or sophomore in high school at the time.
