Melville as a pre-existentialist, good read, and funny, also a precursor to absurdist theater, it reads like a long joke, I was left waiting for the punch line. E lui vuole proprio questo. The story is told in an easy and simple language, with a polite tone that highlights the absurd and humorous. The L-R Man makes his living the same hermab.
